Why do we charge an assessment fee?

While we offer a comprehensive range of services free to the student, we begin with an initial assessment and consultation for a nominal fee of $75.

The initial $75 assessment fee serves a dual purpose.

First, it helps us maintain a high standard of service by ensuring that our resources are focused on students who are genuinely committed to pursuing their educational goals in Canada. This fee acts as a sign of commitment from prospective students, indicating their seriousness and readiness for the rigorous process ahead.

Secondly, this nominal fee allows us to offer a range of other vital services at no additional cost, ensuring that dedicated students receive comprehensive support throughout their journey.

A special feature of Slade Education Group (SEG) is the legal and professional support from a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).  In Canada, RCICs and immigration lawyers are the only professionals legally authorized to provide advice on study permit applications, ensuring our guidance is not only expert but fully compliant with Canadian immigration laws.

Please note that international students applying for a Canadian study permit typically incur additional fees for the study permit application, biometrics, medical exams, English proficiency tests, document translation, courier services, educational credential assessments, tuition fee deposits, agency or consultancy services, and travel expenses for visa processes.   SEG does not pay for these costs on behalf of the application.
